Just wanted you to let everyone know in your surf club that there is a contest up at Point Mugu that is a Pro-Am as well. I have actually heard Dane Reynolds has comitted to surf in this event as well. This is pretty ground breaking since they are allowing this one time for regular non-DOD/civilians to drive right on base and surf in the contest. The best part is that there is a military division so we aren’t pitted against surfers who get to surf every day or for that matter for a living. This way we can represent the military as well. I spoke to Mr. Fred Morgan up at Point Mugu and he said there were still plenty of spots open in the Military division.
